About Zara

Zara Wright, B.S., LVT is a dedicated and highly skilled Licensed Veterinary Technician with a strong commitment to excellence in patient care. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree from Central Michigan University in 2019 and obtained her LVT credential in 2022. With experience in veterinary practice dating back to 2015, Zara brings a deep knowledge base, strong technical skills, and a calm, confident presence to every case.

Zara has a particular passion for emergency medicine, reproduction, and surgery. She spent two years working at an equine reproduction facility, where she developed specialized expertise and a strong appreciation for the precision and teamwork required in advanced reproductive medicine, such as Artificial Insemination, Semen Collection and Evaluation. Zara is Recover CPR and Fear-Free Certified. She is known for thriving in fast-paced environments while maintaining a high standard of care for both patients and clients.

Outside of the clinic, Zara enjoys showing her horses, Ralphie and RJ with Eastern Michigan Arabian Association where she also sits on the Executive Board as Banquet and Camping Director. When she isn’t at the barn she also enjoys spending time outdoors hunting, fishing, kayaking, and hitting the golf course. She is also an avid sports fan that loves cheering for MSU. Her personal animal family includes 2 cats, 2 dogs, 1 fish and 2 horses: Eloise, Daphne, Maple, Yukon, Fernando, Ralphie, and RJ. Zara’s professional dedication is matched by her lifelong love for animals, both in and out of the clinic.
