About Us
Originally opened in 2006 as Mid-Michigan Equine Services, our practice began with a focus on equine care rooted in strong client relationships and practical, on-the-ground service. Over the years, we’ve grown to care for a wide range of species—cattle, small ruminants, and companion animals—while staying true to the values that shaped us from the start. In 2024, we changed our name to reflect that evolution. Though the name is new, our commitment to honest, thoughtful, and relationship-driven veterinary care remains exactly the same.
Laura Pylman, DVM
Owner and founding DVM. Sees all species including in horses, small animals, and poultry. Loves surgery, lameness, and reproduction.
Amanda Norman, DVM
Associate DVM. Sees all species including small animals, horses and cattle. Loves dentistry in all species.
Chloe Smith
Veterinary Assistant with particular experience in small animals, horses and pigs.
Raime Lawcock
Veterinary Assistant with experience with small animal and horses. Currently working towards her LVT certification.
Zara Wright, LVT
Our Licensed Veterinary Technician with experience in emergency medicine, small animals, and horses.
